Topic: Chlorella
Chlorella is a one-cell alga which is
very popular in Japan right now as it has a very positive effect on your health and
digestion. It is a matter of time that it will be popular in Europe as well. Below you can
find details of suppliers/growers of this powerful plant which has many benefits and grows
very fast.
KOREAN CHLORELLA
Chlorella is a one-cell alga, which exists already more than 2 milliard years on this
earth. A Dutch Scientist, Mr. M.W. Beijerinck, found this alga in the year 1890. He called
the alga Chlorella, Chloros (Green) because of the colour and Ella (small) because the
shape if the alga is very small. The shape of Chlorella is a ball with its diameter of
2-10 micrometer and it grows in fresh water. The study on Chlorella started during the
period of the first and Second World War and continued in U.S.A. and later in Japan. A
dried Chlorella cell contains more than 50 % protein, a very high Chlorophyll value and a
life activating material called CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor). Is has been shown that the
CGF that are existing in the Cell walls can bind with heavy metals like lead, mercury and
cadmium and therefore have a cleansing function. Therefore, since 1970 the demand for
Chlorella has been growing.
THE DIFFERENCE WITH SPIRULINA
Spirulina is a multiple cell algae, spiral form plant which grows in salt water. Dried
powder of spirulina appears the same as Chlorella because of the green colour, but the
difference in shape can be perceived easily through a microscope. The higher content of
protein in Spirulina attracts the interest from the people however spirulina does not
contain CGF.
DAESANG CHLORELLA
Is top quality, because we use the Dark culturing method. Bright Culturing = open site
culturing (outside), is used in Taiwan, Indonesia, China and south of Japan. The quality
of the product here is dependent on the temperature and other influences of the weather,
like rain (acid, and other things brought by the rain), pollution of other plants, animals
and bacteria. This is due to the fact that culturing takes place outside. This method is
less productive and cheaper. Dark culturing = inside, (the rooms are closed) is used by
Daesang and in the Northern part of Japan. It is a complete hygienic, stabile process with
a constant production.

Our body needs vitamins, minerals and
trace elements to stay healthy. Without sufficient required nutritional tissue a healthy
body cannot stay alive. A lot of diseases exist due to insufficient nourishment, air and
water pollution, toxic and stress. Research shows every time again that diseases and
dicease-like processes are always a consequence of insufficiency of required nutritional
tissue.
We are often living too fast, the time flies and the rhythm of eating healthy is already
quickly broken. Nutritional supplements are widely respected and in the medical world the
supporting side effect of it together with a treatment are accepted.
There are a few known green nutritional
supplements, like spirulina, wheat grass, and barley. One of the most remarkable from the
green nutritional supplements is without a doubt CHLORELLA! Chlorella is not a medicine.
It is a plant, which belongs to the family of the micro-algae. Chlorella does not kill
viruses or microbes, every Chlorella cell contains proteins like fibres, chlorophyll,
vitamins, minerals and amino-acids.
Chlorella is a single cell alga, one of
the eldest forms of vegetable life on this planet. Chlorella is microscopic small, 2~8
micron, which is about the same size of our red blood cells. In spite of this smallness
the cell wall of the chlorella algae exist of 3 layers, of which the most outer cellwall
is remarkably strong. This is probably one of the reasons why this alga has exceeded so
many years on earth.
It has shown that the tissue in the cell
wall of the Chlorella, have a natural fixative power and can bind with heavy metals like
mercury, cadmium, and due that fact have a very high cleaning effect. The combination of
these cleaning tissue is also known as the CGF= Chlorella Growth Factor. Thanks to this
high value of chlorophyll, Chlorella make it easier to digest nutritional tissue like
proteins and it stops the growth of unwanted bacteria. The treatment of intestine and
stomach problems can be supported effectively by Chlorella. Chlorella makes the blood more
powerful, it helps to keep the calcium in the right level and it improves the absorption
of iron.
Chlorella gives again energy and helps
with phenomena like winter-tiredness, it strengthens the immune system, it supports
recovery after illness gives less chance to food allergies.
The self-regulating capacity of the body
is able to correct and break down a lot, but takes up a lot of energy. The body captures
its own immune system, which can eliminate certain damaging tissue. For this action the
body needs certain vitamins (anti-oxidants) in sufficient amount like a/o. Vitamin A, C
and E. Together with Chlorella Growth Factor they are working for the internal cleansing
of the body. Chlorella purifies the blood, it breaks down bad tissue, and it cleans the
intestines.
Hence, we want to slow down the risk of
getting ill. Chlorella stimulates the immune-system to make sure that we can feel
fit every day!

Chlorella is a green single-celled algae,
about the size of a human red blood corpuscle, which is cultivated in large man-made
freshwater ponds under artificially controlled conditions. It has the highest
concentration of chlorophyll found in any edible plant (2-3%) and has been grown in the
Pacific Rim for over 25 years. It is particularly popular as a health supplement in Japan
and throughout the Orient.
An estimated 5 million Japanese take
chlorella every day. Chlorella's broad spectrum health benefits, amply researched by
Japanese scientists, include the impressive fact that it contains 60% protein, including
all the essential amino acids, and high levels of beta carotene and chlorophyll.
Significant research has been done on
chlorella and chlorella growth factor. CFG is a liquid extract from the algae cell nucleus
containing proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. Many reports and clinical
trials have shown CGF and chlorella to have activity against a variety of cancers and
tumours, in humans and animals.
Chlorella is highly nutritious and has
many health benefits. However, the digestive tract cannot effectively break down the tough
cell wall. It is very important to use "cracked cell", or, "broken cell
wall" chlorella, to obtain these benefits.
Chlorella is no doubt the most researched
algae in the world - by scientists at the Rockefeller Foundation, Carnegie Institute,
NASA, as well as in Japan, Germany, England, Russia, and Israel. The next section
comprises quotes from some researchers and links to other material to support the
information given in our Chlorella pages.
What is Chlorella?
Chlorella is a first class detoxifying agent, capable of binding and removing heavy metals
such as lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, and other toxins, pesticides, herbicides, and
PCBs from the body's tissues.
Chlorella is capable of removing alcohol from the liver. A Japanese study showed that
taking 4-6gm of chlorella before consuming alcohol can prevent a hangover 96% of the time!
Chlorella is highly alkalizing, meaning
that it helps restore the acid-base balance of the bodys tissues. (But this is no
excuse to continue eating excess meats, starches, sugars, soft drinks and preserved foods,
alcohol, coffee and tobacco, which all acidify the body!)
Chlorella is very good for the digestive system. Studies have shown it causes the friendly
bacterial flora to multiply at four times their usual rate.
Chlorella is beneficial for bad breath and constipation and has been shown to play an
important role in detoxification of the body.
Studies have also shown that it can lower
serum cholesterol levels, boost the immune system and stimulate production of interferon,
therefore possibly offering some protection against cancer.
Chlorella is also effective in healing skin wounds, both mild and severe. Chlorella Growth
Factor (CGF) is the substance most closely associated with reported accelerated ulcer and
wound healing. Powdered Chlorella has been used externally to heal wounds.
Chlorella is best taken 20-30 minutes
before a meal and at bedtime. The usual dosage is between 3-12g/day. It is best not to
take Vitamin C at the same time, so it is suggested that if you use Vitamin C you take
that after your meal.
New users are generally recommended to start at a low dose and build up gradually.
However, some research suggests that small doses mobilise more toxins than they can
remove. If you feel unwell rather than that your digestion is adjusting to a new food,
that may be an indication that you should increase your intake rather than reduce it,
which could make your symptoms worse.
